Nixon didn't sell us to China. He gave China's new leadership (Deng Xiaoping) the opportunity to have a relationship with the USA, and vice versa. Certainly there is much of value in China. It's an old fascinating civilization.

Subsequent presidents at some point started working FOR the Chinese. Obama and Hillary clearly are in that category.

Maybe you don't remember what China was then. It was a poor country that had suffered a lot in WW2 and Mao's later disasters, but one with great human capital and history. Nixon and Kissinger did a good thing for humanity by "opening" the country to the world, with its full consent.
