I loved Star Wars. Been a sci-fi fan since I was a kid cuz my dad was into it. But now? So disappointed. They really do ruin everything. And they wonder why we can't have nice things anymore.

If your company is failing, movies are a great thing to diversity into because they have special backroom ways of hiding losses. Look up "Hollywood Accounting" for details.

I grew up with Star Wars like every other kid born in the 70's. Had the sheets, toys, posters.

The real problem is Hollywood media braonwashing, it has always been that way. They tell us to feel a certain way by dressing it up in cool effects and heartfelt music, then we self identify with it to the point of it becoming a part of our own identity. I am as guilty as anyone, I have loved movies all my life.

As I have gotten older I look back and see the amount of brainwashing and it is staggering, and I have lost my taste for Hollywood in general.

The original Star Wars triology is a propaganda piece for new age religion, the Force and all of that silliness. It singlehandedly opened up millions and millions of kids to those ideas. It is so normal now that we think of it as nothing.

Now we are seeing the next wave, the killing of the male as the dominant sex. If you didnt notice, all the white guys in TFA were evil or killed. The movie itself was garbage anyway.but they got their message across.
