Quoting: Tomorrow Tomorrow :catbed: I just started looking at Rand's med bed thing today and after quick searches, discovered lots of alt sites that say the same thing and use the same illustrations. It's as if the entire sci-fi scenario got jammed into one version and everyone is repeating it. I like reading good sci fi or "speculative" fiction-- so I'm a fan of this med bed as an idea... it has lots of quantum mumbo jumbo as used on Star Trek so it's entertaining. It actually inspired me to think of my bed ridden 86 yr old partner I'm caring for in a little bit newer way-- as if I'm the high tech guy looking for new solutions. So I think med bed is more of an inspiration than a reality-- but that's good too! |

Although, I don't recall a med bed. |
