Voila, instant filter flare reflection of the moon which appears to "move with the moon" as you wave the camera around. You can also do this trick with a single UV filter slightly cross-threaded on the lens if you want to give your filter flare moon reflection a colorful sheen to it based on the anti-reflective coatings of your lens. |

Debunked...Just gonna ask about blue color how was that added?? It's probably due to the anti-reflective coatings of the lens in combination with a single piece of glass or filter in front of the lens. With my lenses the coatings tend to produce a green cast to the reflection. If I use two cheap filters (which have no anti-reflective coatings) so that the reflection is off of one of the filters instead, it will show natural color instead. |

What was odd though last night driving home with Venus low on the horizon that fucker flashed red like a star. Never seen that before. I can only attribute it to the very cold air moving into the area. Somethings iMessage that makes stuff look odd. |

He now realizes he made a mistake. He just uploaded a video showing the filter flare failing the finger test with the sun: |

THE SUN WAS PULSING AND FLASHING BRIGHT TO DIM ABOUT 20 TIMES YouTube is really not that hard to use... neither are most modern cell phones. But a cell phone is not designed to be a proper solar telescope either, so maybe you should stop pointing it at the sun before you break the camera altogether. |
