However Jesus was speaking to those in Israel which is in the Northern Hemisphere. So the flight Jesus was speaking of was for those in the Northern Hemisphere and since Hanukkah and Christmas are coming together... December 21st is the Winter and the Sabbath is Christmas Eve and Hannukah on the 24th of December with the last weekend of this year being the final Sabbath and the last day of 2016..... 1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Fast forward to the time of The Revelation. Jesus is in heaven and He is found worthy to open the sealed scroll that will start the Tribulation. At that time He knew the day and the hour. In Revelation He told us that He was going to show us what was to come. In the sixth chapter He shows His return for the Church at the opening of the sixth seal. In the seventh chapter He shows the Church in heaven. The sixth seal is when the earth is shaken apart and men see Jesus. Luke told us to be looking up for our redemption at that time when the waves roar and the earth is shaken. The day and hour is not given but the sign is there to know. When you see things that we would basically think of as a pole shift then get ready to see Jesus. Some will hide from Him and others will go to heaven with Him. So how far away is this event? Many other things in Biblical prophecy would make you think it was going to be soon. If God is correct it's for sure if you're alive you won't miss it when it happens. |
