Beware with home burglaries this post-holiday season

I had a couple possibly trying to case my house but I thwarted them, and now the po-po is on their way to get a report. Got their plate number and everything.

I never answer the door because I don't wanna be bothered, but I always go to the peephole and see who it is. So today I get a knock on my door while watching some Netflix, so I head towards the door. I don't answer, thinking it's someone trying to sell something, but then I see a couple-- a guy on the phone and a lady holding bags. When I don't answer, I hear the guy say, "looks like the residence is clear."

Then I decide to knock back and say WHAT?!

Then the lady says, Open up, this is heavy.
I'm like, Who are you?
She just says it's heavy. So I say, I don't give a fuck, who are you? You got the wrong house.
Then the guy says sorry and they walk away.

Bags were probably a decoy because a) they didn't look that heavy, and b) why is the asshole not carrying any. and c) why would they leave the car parallel to my driveway (with no cars in it) and why would they say "reisidence is clear" instead of no one home or they're not answering if they really had people expecting them. hahahah fuckers.
