Boston Marathon bomber gets N.Y.'s top public defender to help repeal death sentence

A judge approved David Patton, the head of New York’s influential federal public defenders office, to represent Tsarnaev, 23, on Friday.

The bomber’s legal team indicated in papers they were still reviewing trial documents in preparation for arguments before the First Circuit Court of Appeals (located in Boston).
