Robbed in Argentina, Corruption after the robbery, the torture continues
We came to live in Argentina to escape some of the things that were happening to us in the USA.

We arrived here and went to a very rural area to be free of crime, yet in March of 2016 4 men cut the electric for a whole city to assault my house, and beat my wife.

They watched us for months and I told local police about odd things that to me appeared to be surveillance. They said it was nothing.

On that day in March the electric went out. I locked the door, left my wife and son napping and went to a bakery, called a panaderia here. Its less than 5 minutes away. I bought my wife and son some medialunas and came back.

On the way back home I saw 2 cars of men coming from out of my neighborhood, smiling, waving, looking like they had just been to a party. I thought it was odd, but kept on going people here are very friendly.

When I arrived on my street wife and neighbor were running out of his house telling me to stop.

I stopped and they told me we had just been robbed and the men beat my wife. I asked if she was ok and if my son was ok, she said yes both were ok.

I then went to the house to track the men, so if I could find clues because i had no faith in local police.

Thew police arrived and followed me as i tracked the men, the men had crossed a river bed to house I later found out was the woman who planned the whole thing. I had seen her in the lot next to us ordering men to cut paths, which these thieves would later use as escape paths.

It just so happens a Mexican woman who teaches English at the local high school. Very odd, and we asked around everyone said she wasn't the owner of the lot but was acting like she just bought it.

At any rate The tracks lead from her house down a street and then to where a car had been parked. the tracks disappeared there.

Re: Robbed in Argentina, Corruption after the robbery, the torture continues
MY wife and I were able to identify the men who were the goons and they were picked up due to us identifying them along with security camera footage showing the plates of the car waiting to pick them up after the robbery.

The men were arrested with 1/2 a kilo of pot, and cocaine and allot of money and some of our belongings.

The news papers said they got all of our belongings but then the policeman investigating came by.

He said he was sorry but it wasnt true they only got part of our things. none of the money nor my coin collections were returned.

And my kbar from combat along with other things, phones, pads, were not to be returned.

Re: Robbed in Argentina, Corruption after the robbery, the torture continues
When we first met the attorney prosecuting the case, she said the judge let them go.

At night I was hearing and seeing activity all over our land, about 2 acres more or less. footprints, walking talking. I patrolled the parimeter and put up booby traps. On several occasions I found blood on those foot traps, and later on I saw 2 young men limping in town.

When I asked what happened they said they twisted their ankles, but one store owner said one of the young men had a hole in his foot.

Then they started throwing rats, rocks, and other things in our yard. As I had no pistol or ammunition even if I made a weapon. I packed up my family and left for a safer place until we could buy some things to protect us better.

Re: Robbed in Argentina, Corruption after the robbery, the torture continues
my statement to the police.

Las Bandurrias S/N

9211 Epuyen, Chubut

April 10th, 2016

My statement of the events leading up to and surrounding the robbery of my home.

In December we saw the people who said they were the new owners of the lot next to us, we approached them and tried to be friendly, they were cutting paths that were no where near they property and made no sense at all, being as they were looking at the plan for the property. I would later find out the man who was cutting the paths name was Micheal. The woman acted like she couldn't understand me and I later found out she was an English teacher for the school system, and is from Mexico. She acted like she didn't understand anything I said, so my wife went to talk to her and she said she just bought the land in December, she was very short with my wife and quite rude.

We also noticed they cut bushes and Rosa moscetta on our property when we were gone. I walked over on the lot next to us to see if there were any signs of people staying there because we started hearing noises and people talking right after the paths were cut. After I walked around the lot on several occasions, we would go to the store and arrive home to find the new owner walking around the lot, looking at the trails, pointing towards the river and my house. The new owner only came around when we left our house, and on the days I had been over three looking at where I heard noises. If she saw me, she would turn around and leave within a few minutes. She was always walking the paths as if to inspect them, if stuff grew she had someone comme cuut it again right away keeping the bruush short on the paths. On several occasions I saw her tell the men to pick up garbage that was in the back, a beer bottle, some sprite cans, white jugs. Her behavior was so strange we started filming her and the people that were accompanied her.

The last time I saw her was the day before we were robbed, she was walking around with a woman that looked like a woman who tried to sell us land but had partially grey hair instead of the reddish color she had when she showed us the lot. She did the same thing with the woman walked around the trails pointed to the river, the paths going to my lot and then up to a tree in the middle of her lot. They then left and I noticed they hadn't driven a car to their lot, they walked towards the street but I didn't see a car. I didn't think about it much that night we got a message from the woman selling the lot and she was acting desperate, asking if we would meet her she wanted to show us the lot and talk again, she has lowered her price. We agreed and met her, again I noticed she looked like the gray hared woman I had seen with the other woman but she had red hair instead of grey. Her glasses were also the same dark glasses with dark brown and gold highlights I thought maybe it was a relative or something that looked just like her. These are the details of strange events or conversations leading up to the day before our robbery.

Re: Robbed in Argentina, Corruption after the robbery, the torture continues
The day after we talked to the “new neighbors” Micheal came to us and asked us if I needed help mowing the yard or doing some general labor. Micheal said he needed work, he was honest hard working humble man. It almost seemed as though he had heard my wife and my conversations, because he was saying just the right thing to get me to hire him and he would work for the price I would pay. So I thought I would give him a hand and let him earn some money to feed his family. I had often seen him passing our street carrying bags of groceries. I noticed odd behavior when Micheal worked the very first day. Micheal worked very lazily, he stopped often and was looking around all the time and observing what I was doing. He was looking around every few minutes like he was looking for something or someone. I paid him $550 pesos for removing some of the rosa mosqueta in the yard and for helping in the garden. It was around than 1posting kiddie porn on twitter feeds of labor with several breaks, I gave him free lunch meals, drinks, and drove him near his home.

During the breaks, He started asking a lot of questions, what I did, what we were doing here, What I do for a living, etc. After I told him I was in the war and wanted to find a quiet tranquil place. He told me his 99 year old father who had just passed away was a War Veteran too, in the Malvinas war. He then said his father hated police, gendarmeria, and didn't want to be around them. He also said his father had lost his leg or arm in the war and that after the war he was very traumatized, he was never the same.

In my conversations with Micheal, I mentioned that Epuyen was a nice area I liked it here and I would like to have my own place too, Micheal told me someone named Jaramillo was selling land for“$90.000 pesos”. When I told my wife we though it was too cheap to be true so my wife and I try to find the person who owned the land Mr Jaramillo. We were told he worked and live at the school so we left him a note with my cellphone number on his car because he was never around. He called us to see the land. We found out he wanted way more than what Michael said (550.000 pesos) as we thought.

Micheal asked if he could work the next day, I told him maybe we needed help building a gate it was not safe for our son not having one. I also mentioned I had a very tight budget so how long it will take him building one, he said a day or so because was easy.

After taking him three days of working on the “project of building a gate” I payed him another $1500 pesos plus meals, drinks, drove him to the store and close to home. He acted strange about not wanting me to know exactly where he lived, he had me drive him close but not right to where he lived. He also said he had 3 houses there and one was storage, but he never would point out where he lived.

He never finished the gate, which was half way built, he did not know how to finish it either. Micheal didn't show up to finish the job the next day. A week later he showed up again at 7am knocking at my house door and I told him I did not need help, but thank you, and escorted him to leave. I hired someone else to build the gate, which by the way Andrias, finished in a day. As days passed by Micheal kept passing by the street of our house whistling a song and looking at the new gate and the house. After many days of seeing him in the street Las Bandurrias he decided to stop by and asked how much I paid for the gate, I told him it was just under 1800 pesos. He said oh, and asked about the land he told me about. I told him we couldn't afford it. He said how much Jaramillo was asking and I told him 550 thousand pesos and I didn't have that much. He asked how much did I want to pay for it, I said maybe around 400 thousand or less. But we just didn't like it, anyway.

The last time I saw Michael was in mid March, he asked for work again as he was passing by our home. I said yes maybe he can help me with the chicken coop that was falling down. I allowed Micheal to work around the house even though I knew he was a liar, because I felt sorry for his family. My wife advised me it was a bad idea to hire him again due to his lack of honesty and bad ethics work. I payed him that day $200 pesos for 4 hours of labor.

About a month ago, I witnessed 4 men cutting what looked like 3 meter paths through the lot to the left of us. I walked out to see what they were doing because it was odd to see a crew of men working on a Sunday. I had trouble finding someone to work on a weekday. In addition to the oddity of them working on Sunday, they were trimming down the same paths that Micheal had previously cut about a month before while he was accompanied by the woman who said she was the new owner.

Re: Robbed in Argentina, Corruption after the robbery, the torture continues
I went to within a few meters of the fence line and saw the men looking towards me talking to another man I knew Micheal. Another of the men saw was one of the men who robbed us, I saw him in the photos provided by the police for my wife to identify the suspects. Before the men saw me they were pointing towards my house, then back towards the back corner of my lot, then over to the canal, and then back to the river. The were making the exact same gesture the “new owner” made, I thought what they were doing was very odd, it looked as if they were making a road from the river to the canal, then angled towards the corner of my lot.

As soon as they saw me I waved at the men to acknowledge them, however no one waved back. Instead the men gave me dirty looks, and continued talking to each other. I saw Micheal Leave a few minutes later, but the other men stayed and finished trimming the paths. The paths were now much larger, cut almost to the ground they looked like small roads. They had cut one new path going from the other edge of the canal near the property line, that ran back to the river as well.

The paths they cut were extremely odd because the “new owners” property line only goes back a a meter or so from the canal as identified by the thin black line in my diagram, not to the riverbed, according to the real estate agent I talked to a few days later. The large red lines are the paths they cut, the small red ones smaller paths cut through her property, with some small areas for unknown use. The yellow path is the small municipality road.

After these paths were cut, we started hearing noises at night, a man on horse, near the canal and I saw several men on different occasions standing near the canal right under the trees. I also heard noises near our house, our dog, and the stray dogs were barking constantly towards the fence line. On several occasions when the dogs ran back towards that same corner and I followed them, I often heard men talking between the hours of 12 am to 3:50 am. When I yelled out who was there, I heard the men walking or running away, on one occasion I heard someone fall into the bushes and yell iha de puta. One night I chased some men who jumped got into a car parked across the river, I drove around trying to find them with no luck. I told my neighbors, a restaurant owner Hernan, and asked if they saw anything suspicious but no one had. Seen anything. I caught a man on horseback there one night, who left when I approached him.

Re: Robbed in Argentina, Corruption after the robbery, the torture continues
In addition since the robbery I saw a motorcycle drive up and down my street several times. He beeps the horn and then I saw 3 men come out of hiding in the bushes and weeds in the empty lot next to me. My neighbor, my wife and I went to talk to the men. They said they were just hanging out drinking a beer. The 3 hiding said they were fishing, one of them was quite talkative telling us his Tio works for the city. They are coming back everyday and hiding there.

After writing all the events down and reviewing it, the evidence would lead one to conclude that these people were all working together and have done this before to many other people. I would say they are a very well coordinated gang, who did surveillance on us for months, even to the extent of having one of them work for me to gather information and evaluate us. That's my opinion, My hypothesis, although it seems in-dept, is very logical. These people had a support and surveillance team working with them.

These men were identified by the victims, both at the scene and driving away from the scene. They were caught red handed with some of our belongings and drugs but are now free?

Now we received documentation from the prosecuting attorney that she was asking to release the prisoners from having to see probation officers because we went back to the USA.

A fact she knows is a lie, and she also said she couldn't get in touch with us, which is a complete lie, she has spoke with my wife and me and received emails from me on various occasions.

I gave them serial numbers of bills, photos of the tracks, photos of items stolen. in various emals.

stop being a crybaby & plot your revenge, esp in a way that earns you "respect". Did you really expect things there would function like in the US or EU? Remember, it's like the old poker-game saying, "smart is dumb, dumb is smart"... act weak & cowered, and when the right moment arrives, be ruthless and plan it so YOU GET AWAY WITH IT

Why did you pick Argentina?
There are economist magazine intelligencer reports that have country reports to assess risk based on corruption, economics, currency, political, violence. Etc.

Aregentina is the second worse pick next to Venezuela in South America.

Chile is just about a first world country. I get that you would profit off black market conversion os USD but it's dangerous as hell in Argentina.

Why did you move there? Many regional and global brand sales are pulling out of Argentina right now.

And you still blame this on 'evil'? I see your education will be a long and difficult road. Oh well, a couple more lifetimes and maybe you will eventually get there.

I don't want to repeat here. I don't like this prison. I don't accept the terms.

Re: Robbed in Argentina, Corruption after the robbery, the torture continues
Well, I am sorry this happened to you.

I have never been in Argentina, but, have been in several Latino countries and am moving to Guatemala in about a month. Your story scares me a bit.

I have always been told to not live out by myself in the country. These areas are always targeted.

It sounds to me very coordinated and that it goes beyond obtaining your belongings. If they wanted your stuff, they would wait until you are out and they would take it. This, to me, sounds like you have pissed someone off and they want revenge.

I would be very wary. You may not be able to own a gun, but, if you can get flares, hornet spray with 40 foot shot, bow and arrow- whatever. Buy a few giant, aggressive dogs and train them to be your friend and no one elses?

The corruption with police is very typical. They don't have the time, energy, or manpower to keep people in jail. They didn't kill anyone, and, while they may be stalking you (which is probably not illegal), really, all they have done is steal - and enter your home illegally.

IT is different there- as I always say to my kids- 'you are not in Kansas when you are here. Pay attention. Trust no one'.

In Latin America, you are often far safer in a bigger community- but with neighbors. It is really recommended to never live by yourself as a foreigner. It puts a big target on you.

Your story really truly gives me a bad vibe. It reminds me of a lady from Honduras I met whose family was being stalked and then they came in and killed all of the males on her property- her dad, brothers, brother- in -laws and infant nephews. The females were raped and beaten. Essentially, the crew had decided that they needed the family farm for a drug operation and they were going to take it. Her sister killed herself. She, her mother, and her other sister were accepted in Ecuador as refugees. It sounds similar.

If you think this is just a robbery, I really want you to reconsider. If they really turned off all of the electricity in the city just to get to you- there is a lot more going on. Also, be wary about 'brujeria' in these cultures. They have some really scary voodoo-like beliefs in some of the indigenous cultures. You don't want to become some messed up sacrifice because you crossed one of their traditions or they want your land.

This is the time to be right or try and get justice in my opinion. Thsi is the time to cut your losses and be thankful you are still here.

No its not just another robbery, my family and I are under constant surveillance. I never even knew such things happened in real life. But in reality, its happening.

Its been going on my whole life, but I have a witness for the last 6 years.

My house in the USA was constantly bugged, extensively, the neighbors often did very weird things. Talking on phone outside every time we left. same 2 people always. Refuse to report strange people roaming the neighborhood when they witnessed someone opening car doors at night doing something inside their cars. Someone was constantly stealing my gas in my driveway, I saw him once called police they came but guy had disappeared. Neighbors always said they saw nothing even if I saw them looking out window at same time.

We bought RV to find new home, RV was taken apart a small piece at a time, found bugs in rv. Things were constantly moved around in RV and sometimes go missing once for over a year my hearing aids disappeared only to reappear a year later.

Our home was robbed, our RV was robbed, the police in US refused to investigate.

Our RV had a strange flat tire, which looked like shape charge exploded, blew out the whole side of RV panel during a "flat tire incident at 50 MPH" the impact are of the charge was in middle of RV not by the tire. In addition someone had cut the fitting for the propane gas then glued it back together. I think the whole incident was to make the RV explode and look like accident.
Trooper on scene refused to take photos of it or make an incident report, left us on side of road in Virginia.

We were being followed by several vehicles which we filmed passing us then turning around in front of us going back down expressway then turning around and following us again. I have been documenting it extensively with videos, had license numbers photos of people following us in Walmart getting gift cards from white vans, different people. then see the same people hundreds of miles away in different town.

When they saw us filming them giving out the walmart gift cards, they started leaving them on top of pumps. once I collected over 50 cards in one day, by watching the guy put them there, take them then collect them over and over. It got to be funny but he didnt like it.

I would park in remote places, hide and watch an area that was in the middle of no where turn into a parade of zombies, one person driving the others looking around with one always focused on their phone. I had films of them driving in circles while we were parked.

After driving for hours one night a guy following us rammed us after nearly hitting us once. He was driving past us headed east, then taking an off ramp turning around headed west and then coming back doing same thing over and over. I had videos of him doing that with his license plates visible. I told the police he had been following us doing that, they refused to investigate.

He was also driving a truck that wasn't his and had no proof of insurance. In addition he lied to police and changed his story several times, when I pointed out his was committing a felony by lying to a police officer, and committing a crime by not having proof of insurance, they refused to prosecute him. Then wrote up a lie for the report even though I had films of everything. I posted videos on youtube and they were INSTANTLY removed.

We saw ads on Cl giving people FREE camping sites in towns we were going to, when you called the number it was a number that you left a message on then someone from a different number that was untraceable called you back.

We had people poison our water put drugs in our food, the list goes on and on over the years. So no I know its not just a robbery they wanted to steal my memory cards which they did, and move us out of the rural area.

I did not do anything as I said they have been doing it for years including giving me fake charges when I wasn't driving for DUI, arresting me for public drunkeness when I wasn't drinking anything.

The robbery was a front, to get my memory chips, and scare us into moving closer to town where they had more resources and assets to attack us.

For me it all sounds crazy but everything i am stating is factual, they are larger than anyone realizes, Its my opinion they are evil.

South America is a shithole. South Americans hate Americans. I've been down there on tour with a number of famous singers, and I hated being there. Sorry for the shit time, but you're in a shit hole of a country surrounded by people who are extremely jealous of you and hate you.

Read what I wrote just above your post. I was robbed more than 4 times in the good ole USA. These small percentage of jerks are everywhere and they hate some people before they ever arrive.
