For the record it's a pure shitshow. It was a two for one when the diagnosis came down eight years ago.

If you answered yes, how do you manage the cost of insulin? For me on the wife's insurance United Deathcare it's roughly $530 out of pocket each month for long and short term insulin until my $1500 deductible is met. Testosterone is an additional $60 plus $75 for all needed needles each month.The wife started liquidating 401k so we have the funds to keep me alive for now.

Perhaps your costs are different or greater than mine. I sincerely offer my condolences if they are, I'm simply trying to connect with anyone/someone who is enduring the same situation. My prayers are with you.

UHC also just declined a cortisone injection in my back loaded with half a dozen screws from a five year old fusion as they claimed it was an unproven procedure. The pain remains crippling.

I'd laugh if it wasn't me and I know that ain't right. I've often thought of sucking the end of my 12 gauge but I need to see the Lord and that isn't the answer.

I continue to forge ahead hoping better days are before me. It ain't easy.
