90-year-old Florida man charged for feeding homeless people

Most homeless get a check each month for disability, SS, or whatnot and they spend it on drugs and alcohol instead of food and a roof. DO NOT FEED THEM!

We don't live in a police state, we live in a criminal state that requires way too many cops!

That's about it.

A country that goes out of its way to imprison the innocent has no business preaching democracy to the world.

So I emailed the Mayor of Ft. Lauderdale and received a response... see below.

Here's what I sent:

Mr. Jack Seiler,

I just read an article about how your city is citing an elderly man for doing nothing more than feeding his fellow human beings. You should be absolutely ashamed of yourself and your so called "law enforcement" officials for such egregious actions against Mr. Arnold Abbott.

Why do you hate freedom?

Why would you prevent someone from helping to feed needy people?

The compassion you should be showing these people is completely non-existent and you're hiding behind a really crappy law.

What do you have to say about this and for yourself? How can you sleep at night?

This has nothing to do with politics and has everything to do with simply doing the right thing.

What have you done to help these people?

My family and I have traveled to Ft. Lauderdale on many occasions for vacation, but that just ended. You may not think one person/family will have a negative impact on your economy, but I can assure you I'm not the only one.

You should come out and denounce these actions against Arnold Abbott.
