When you say:

It appears to me, that you believe the above statements, by faith. I do not understand why it is not better to talk to God directly? Do you realize that a belief in a higher self opens a person to be possessed by demons? A demon, claiming to be your higher self, would then have full access to completely take you over.
I guess my main question to you Divinity, would be, by whom do you check your faith and beliefs?
For me, it has been advantageous to check my faith and beliefs by both the written word of God (which proved itself to me over time) and by hearing the revealed word of God in direct communications with God, who also proves Himself to a person, over time. It is in the PROVING through the events and confirmations in daily living, that God proves His reality to His children. Thats why I said it is so easy.
But if you or anyone else is unwilling to TEST what they currently believe to see if they can learn to hear God directly, than what could ever dislodge you or anyone from believing what might be lies from the carnal mind?

at least one person, Dexter, who was doing this exercise before I even posted about it, told us that he did, indeed, find a person he calls 'not me' doing some thinking within him. He described how this 'not me' operates and it exactly matches the description of the carnal mind.
In other words, Divinity, if I am right about the carnal mind, and you have been listening to its COUNSEL, then, without doubt, it has been lying to you, by definition, and leading you AWAY from God in your belief system. It is not about me denigrating your belief system, but instead is a valid warning with an easy test, to help you be sure that you have not been subject to a danger, that "I believe" exists.
If we take a step back, we would ponder if, when people get together and talk to one another, if there are only carnal minds speaking lies to one another the whole time? When do the geniune persons ever come to the forefront? Are we speaking to each other's hands?
Certainly a challenge to someone's belief system could result in a life crisis, but it is better to tear down a structure based on lies, than to continue out of pride or the influence of the lying carnal mind.

Yep, Jesus is real to you and that's the point I'm making. For over 75% of the world, Jesus isn't real to them. It's alright - don't panic! Your beliefs will echo your life, your life will mirror your belief.
For Muslims, replace the word Jesus with 'Mohammed', for me replace the word Jesus with 'the higher part of me that is oberving the lower part of me in action'.
It's all about ME and that's what the Christians cannot understand...they construe that as egoic. I don't blame them - it's written in their doctrine.

I don't like FAITH. That's another control mechanism. Why should we - as amazing beings - rely on FAITH? We were born with logical AND imaginative minds...why do we need faith?
I am constantly checking and rechecking my beliefs because I'm constantly testing them.
Vibration/frequency/reasonance of energy is truth. It's no different to bands of frequency on a radio....when your energy starts to vibrate at higher and higher rates, you have access to higher and higher truth. I can't walk that path for you, all I ask is you open your mind to other possibilities instead of condemning people like me.

i encourage all people to be non-narcissistic and pro-sociable. i encourage people to investigate and utilize what effectively increases well-being and to not allocate resources and attention on things that are claimed to help well-being but are ineffective.

you are correct in saying that people should be humble and sharing, add social...people have social problems. we should focus on things proven effective for well-being and dismiss the distractions because there are distractions. let me think of a simple non-spiritual one.... ok on the herbal side st johns wort, on the "medical" side SSRI drugs. both those are bad. also people who are jerks who say things like change your attitude, watch the movie called the secret and all that. we really want effective things that work, we really really need to expand consciousness and work on things like sociability, 1 in 150 are severely autistic and most the other 149 people are sociopathic in some way.
there are a lot of things out there that pretend to look good and spiritual and cool, but arent, and we only have enough time and energy to focus on effective things. Do whats good for you. if you found some sort of exercise or practice or new thing to do that increases how well you feel so that you treat your self and others better, than go with it. maybe you found a drug medication that works for you (youd be a minority as our medicine is so corrupt that there arent very good ones to help hardly anyone). or maybe you found a new study or something.... do it.
try to increase how nice you are, how normal and clearly communicative you are. try to raise love. |

Your mind is such an amazingly fantastic piece of architecture! It has millenia of years and years of wisdom, knowledge and life-experience! However, there are parts of your mind that do this to you, if you let it:
* tell you you aren't good enough
* you aren't pious enough
* you don't have enough humility to enter into the kingdom of god
* you sin all the time and you have to be punished
there are parts of your mind that will make you believe you are talking to God, when in fact, you might be talking to yourself in the past or future, or to an Alien!?
Do you know anything of mind control? Do you know the Illuminati have had - for some time - machines that CAN beam directly into a person's head?
Your mind is suggestible...that's a very difficult thing to overcome in this reality. Discern, discern, test, always.
Faith doesn't cut it for me - but it's faith that kept so many martyrs and good people SUPPRESSED.

Although I'm detaching somewhat emotionally from the youngest son,(I have 3), of course an enlightened parent is always with the offspring in spirit. I didn't tell you that he (the 22 yr. old) had a brain tumor last year, it was a life and death drama. My mate( honeymoon couple, 5 years) and I are native elders, we made a vow to the sun, the ancient way. We did our ceremonies and danced with the medicine staff at the Summer SunDance, doing all the things that the elder elders taught us. My son had the surgery (didn't want me there, said he couldn't have my drama at that time, it would spoil the scenario with my nemesis). The final report from the surgeon was that it was a miracle! The tumor had been consumed by some force and the place where it had eaten through his skull had started repairing itself. He said he had never seen that in all his career. In other words, you know, it's a miracle of love. |

Oh, so until people learn that the religions of today each have something to teach about the journey to God, they will be like the people living at the base of the mountain.

Thank you Ecstacy and Agony, that is inspiring and uplifting. The dialog and energy being shared here is refreshing. As stated before, it takes all kinds. Everyone has there own path and what works for each is contributing to the betterment of the whole.
I don't understand why people would think that slowing your minds thoughts down and going into a place of stillness is detrimental. Meditation provides a means to connect with your higher self. It is my path into communion with the Christ energy. This is my protection, my guidance, my dreams and higher ideals. Meditation is a prayer of gratitude to the Creator where I can observe everything or nothing at all.
It's interesting and exciting hearing our about pear shaped consciousness. This would mean that most of the compressing of consciousness has occurred as we move through the eye of the torus according to wave theory. It all fits in with the central universe alignment coming up, and even down to the upcoming second transit of Venus. Duality is fading.

ATLAN – aha! You found me…took long enough! Mmm, had a few minor challenges so far but nothing too crucial. Did you see Yol’s Dodec thing? It’s ultimate protection, apparently – LOL we might need it!
Xana – I picked up on that post from Elohim too…he is very very knowledgeable and it would be great to have him here. His beliefs are radical and a little suprising sometimes.
In my case, I don’t think I was born a highly involved soul but something quite traumatic happened to me in 1997 and from then on, I became a changed person. Perhaps I allowed another soul fragment in? or perhaps I was activated? I could probably even list the triggers.
And one of those triggers was Atlan, a truly amazing person and friend, who changed my life! You don’t get much thanks in this work so I’m thanking him now.
I don’t know if anyone read the part about ‘boarding the trains’, on the What’s Up on Planet Earth post recently (I think), but this thread makes me wonder if we ARE all aboard the same train!???

That's my first comment. The second is this, and it is a thought only... open to further discussion here...
2. Maybe 'we' are on a train (a gathering of similar frequencies)... each of us will look to our surroundings and each will report something different. One or more (essences) will remain the same--> we are on a train.
Not sure I would have used that metaphore, (Karen's train), but she did and here we are.

Now I'll work (some more) on deleting the drama (Ecstasy and Agony)so I can be a clearer channel for Source. In my daily meditation(time for my meds!LOL!)as I reach out to the Source, my Higher Self, The Christ Consciousness...I feel full and Loved and warm. And it remains in my day-to-day as I continue be able to express the Light.
Your story allowed me to see the places that can be expanded even further; to allow that Intelligent Energy to heal and move in ways that I may not have an understanding of, but that The Source certainly does!
With this increased awareness, the doors open wider and wider to the Bounty that is available.
