My daughter wanted a cat and I didn't, 4 years later im stuck with the cat because she went to live at her mothers.
I like the cat though.

I told my hubby..."NO CATS", so he brought home two cats. Actually, they turned out to be blessings.

They are good companions and low maintenance.

I didn't really want a cat either.

Obviously you grow attached to them over time, but I've still got to take an antihistamine tablet daily.

I got to choose the cat breed though - always liked the Burmese.

I wanted Pomeranians and my husband didn't, too sissyfied. Guess who loves those 2 Pomeranians to pieces? You will probably love those kittens.

With that though. I hate cats. Have 2 for my kids, one of the little witches loves me. I wake up and she's cuddled on my pillow, on my head nearly, ass to face. How friggen gross.

If you connect with them on a natural level, they are so loving and appreciative.

My husband didn't want a cat either. I told him he could pick out the cat. He ended up getting a Maine coon. According to him they are the manliest cats Lol. He's about 20 pounds of majestic beauty and acts more like a dog than a cat. Everyone wins.
