You know what, I'm not trusting anyone and will wait and see if or when any tangible recordings are released. One thing piques my interest though: in situations like these, high level briefings are generally held to analyze and mitigate fallout from existing scandals. Speculated threats that may or may not exist typically don't reach that stage, but then again this may be a special exception because its fast becoming a major story that needs to be shaped into a preferred narrative.
