Taiwan scrambles jets, navy as China aircraft carrier enters Taiwan Strait

This Chinese aircraft carrier move came on Wednesday. A few days earlier, a Chinese H-6 strategic bomber flew around the Spratly Islands over the weekend in a show of force.

The US govt is in transition, and China wants to draw attention back to itself.

If a war started, China would be fucked pretty quick. In the China mainland, take out Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou and Shenzhen probably (for comms routing to Hong Kong), bomb and level the 3 gorges dam. China would be chickens with their heads cut off. Then, also clamp down on Hainan and Hong Kong. Bottom line - kicking their shit ass on just a half dozen cities would unleash such a butt hurt on China's govt, finance, infrastructure that their comm/control just wouldn't exist anymore......They should really be more polite.
