You can tell Booker is trying to become a DNC leader and position himself as a possible 2020 presidential candidate. Unfortunately for him and the DNC, he seems very thin on substance and will lose the election.

Democrats just haven't learned a damn thing from their ass whooping. The public is tired of rah rah social justice rhetoric and "let's climb the highest mountain" pom pom talk. Obama played that out. At this point in history, they want someone who is pragmatic and practical.
