Last Minute Change in Security at Inauguration Reminiscent of JFK in Dealey Plaza

Flawed analysis. The biggest difference is that while SOME OF JFK's detail was ordered to "stand down" [there was still a carload of agents immediately behind the POTUS limos - evidenced by the speed with which Clint Hill was able to cliomb into the JFK's Lincoln], Trump has beefed his own up with over 300 private-security specialists, many of whom are former USN SEALS as well as foreign-trained operatives.

I was at one of Trump's earlier rallies, long before he was appearing to vast crowds and 6 months before he was nominated. I sat just 30' away from him in a room containing about 500 people. And, the security to get in was incredible! After passing through the arched scanner, another agent used a hand-wand on every single person. SS agents were everywhere as were local Sheriff's Deputies who patrolled the sides of the audience constantly keeping aisles clear. Outside the venue was a secured area ringed by even more deputies, all armed to the teeth. At the sidewalk, local police took over.

You can rest assured that Trump's security details have only increased in the past year.
