Criticizing any government institution publicly, on Facebook, Twitter or even in public places could make you end up in jail or be sentenced with a huge fine.
It does happen, despotism all around, heavy police presence. Feels like a pressure cooker about to burst anytime. Last civil war in Spain was very bloody, don't want to be around if it starts again, definetely gonna move back this year, spent more than 10 years in Spain, but its over. Been to Germany for 3 months last year and felt much better, still quite free thinking and a lot of subculture, disobedience, highest standards. Berlin and the surrounding is an amazing place, for my taste the best place to live in Europe at the moment, many people are very aware of the situation.

The Germans will take back their country eventually. They have been propagandized to be tolerant since WWII, but there comes a limit. I have a feeling they are reaching it!

Germans are a wonderful group of human beings, intelligent, hardworking, strong and generous! They will not fail!

Where are you moving back to? I've often got depressed with Ireland in the winter, it's so cold and wet - looked at lovely cheap places in rural Italy - but - as you say, Europe's just not safe any more.

It’s clear enough that Merkel and the rest of her government believe the best way to handle the insane migrant disaster they’ve unleashed upon Europe is to forbid their citizens from complaining about it.

It’s also clear that Merkel, and every other censor around the world, can usually get Internet providers to play ball, either through ideological sympathy or intimidation. (Russia seems especially eager to play China’s game of telling social media titans they need to either get with the government program or find themselves locked out of huge authoritarian markets.)

The ensuing months have given us an idea of what Zuckerberg told Merkel his company was working on, as described by Murray:
