Why don't women snack on nuts?

During drinking men will often snack on nuts in between the alcohol as an appetite suppressant. Also men often have nuts in between meals, particularly during a low-carb diet.

Not often you see women doing the same. In fact i can't remember ever seeing a woman in the pub eating a bag of nuts while she drinks and socializes.

Any reason why women aren't taking in as many nuts?
