Ok, GLP -
here it is. My first thread. I've been a quiet reader of GLP, rarely posting both for work reasons and because of private tragedy years ago and the after effects. I found GLP to reseach what happened. And it was a great resource. Thanks, Trin et al. I have been weighing the pro's and con's of joining because I value my privacy and how it could affect my work. But finally:

just joined forum so that I could post this youtube. I wanted to do this months ago, but couldn't stop shaking at the thought of the repercussions. but here it is- this song I wrote as an American Anthem
to the "American Man" and the pres. elect.
I feel an urgency in the Spirit to get this out to people.

I am choosing GLP for the first advertising of this song because it is the best and worst of all that is America: freedom of speech with all the wild cards that brings.

And, at the end of the day, GLP really does break a lot of news first.

For months, I've felt to join and reach out to you GLPer's to stir up a movement for this song because -
I wrote it years ago, the night after Johnny Cash passed on. But as Trump built momentum, I felt that 'still small voice' press me to record it and send it as an encouragement to Trump. That this voice would be a needed instrument in the chorus singing "Never give up!"
Which sounded absurd to me given his massive determination/ego/power structure.

But the 'still small voice' persisted. About 6 months ago I felt inspired to join GLP and make an appeal:
"Let's get this song to Trump - I wrote it for Johnny Cash and need to record it very sparsely - I've written and produced 4 CDs, I hear the arrangement in my head - acoustic cello/guitar on first verse - small rhythm sec on 2nd verse and with building crescendo on last verse and drums ending with a counter-point of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" on the last 8 bars.
Does anyone have a studio or ways and means to accomplish this?"

Well, I wimped out - but now I KNOW my intuitions were solid when I saw Trump campaign ads in October with Johnny Cash music and read 2 weeks ago that one of the inauguration songs he chose was "Battle Hymn of the Republic". Amazing! I was thrilled.

That's when I decided once and for all I have great intuitions.

So, it was my intuition to start this you tube viewing here. Which I did a few days ago- now finally, this first thread. I believe that something good will come of this.

If you like my song, "American Man" pass it on to everyone you can. Someone might pass it on to someone that needs to hear it.

If you have recording assets or ideas to get the song produced lmk.

Honestly, been getting my computer genius kid thru college has had us eating a lot of rice and ramen. So, any ideas of how to get this song produced to how I'm hearing it would be awesome.

I really think the next few days are pivotal. I feel it in my bones. Praying for our country. It is the best of times and the worst of times. When I read on GLP that Pence is swearing in with his hand on 2Chron.7:14, I thought, 'well, this is the best of times.'

If you pray, please pray for favor for our country and protection for this songbird. The entertainment world I have worked in for 20 years has become rabidly marxist. When I came to Christ, I got a lot of jeers and lost some work. Publishing this song could end what's left of my career but the Comedian gave me courage that my song would strike a rallying chord to those who believe in the constitution, golden rule, doing the right thing etc. Call them Patriots or what you will. I call them average hard working Americans and they're starting to wake up and they've found a voice in Pres. elect Trump.

ps the day after the election I called a few people (including an "Apprentice" cast member) and said, Ok, he won, now what are you going to do to MAGA?
