Wow! I had become very agoraphobic again after years of being home out in the country with no car. I got where I didnt want to drive my husbands truck when available. In november I took some saved money and bought myself a good little used car. I have pushed myself panic be damned to drive all over again;) My husband and adult children family and friends have given me such accolades for doing this. I am signed up for some software training at the tech college 32 miles from here and have plane tickets to nyc and portland oregon this summer for both my childrens weddings! They never thought mom would be there due to her phobias. They are so pleased and proud of me. I am seeking a fulltime job when I get back from weddings. First time in 11 yrs. I was abused emotionally and beat daily till the age of 9. I suffer from ptsd due to that. Times in my life due to stress or circumstance I will give inch by inch and stay home and not drive to avoid the predictive panic that comes.
Well, I am done with that now and great applause coming my way from those who know and love me because of my new overcoming! Op you were so accurate...amazing lol. Thank you and God Bless;)
