Attempting to wrap my head around the reasons behind feeling empowered or deriving a positive feeling from exacting cruelty on other people. Be them wicked, or righteous, why is it that we as humans at times get a thrill out of treating others with derision? Yet, on the other side, the amount of positive reinforcement and treasure that is stored up in Heaven when we treat others with love, kindness, and respect. Perhaps, cruelty is only allowed on this Earth, and because it will not last, people get a sick thrill out of doing what they know is wrong. We get what we give, the thrill of the moment has a way of distracting us from the consequences that await our every action. |

Remember that wheat and tares are almost identical in appearance but the wheat puts forth good fruit and the tares put forth poison |

Insecure folks with deep feelings of inadequacy think they will feel bigger/better by attempting to drag another down. It's a leftover chimp instinct. Too bad for them it just shows the world how small they are. |

Quoting: BRIEF Same. I remember melting birdshot on the backyard patio one humid afternoon. Just as the pellets began to melt, into one, the moisture within the concrete of the patio had reached the right temperature for combustion, resulting in melted lead being tossed over my face and shirt due to me being huddled over it with a blowtorch. It was only a few shells, so not a lot of damage was done, and melted lead doesnt need that high of a temperature to reach its melting point. All in all it as an experience.
