Had a discussion with an athiest today and he left pissed. I just made a couple of points. Sheesh.

Going through a rough time and asking for advice. I told him prayer and Jesus Christ get me through.

Him: You know I don't give two shits about God or religion or any of that garbage.

Me: OK. Well, start here. Do you believe there is such a thing as right and wrong?

Him: Well yeah. But truth is an individual decision.

Me: Really. Alright. Well then, what if another person decides that their truth is the correct way, and that includes murdering people?

Him: That would be wrong, because no one has a right to take another life.

Me: Who says?

Him: It is pretty much a universal law.

Me: No. It is Judeo Christian law. Some Eastern philosophies teach that life has value, but not in the same way. So if YOU say that mudering others is wrong, who is to say that you aren't wrong? Maybe murdering people and ending their lives is great. As a matter of fact, you believe in Darwinism right?

Him: Evolution, the universally accepted scientific theory? Yes.

Me: Well then, murder is neither good nor bad. The strong survive. If someone is murdered it is thinning out the herd, their inferior genetics need to be removed.


Him: Nice. So now mass murder is ok because I dont believe in Jesus.

Me: Ive told you before, the Bible contains tons of fulfilled prophecy, about Christ, 100% accurate. You want to sit down and look at it? And yeah, if you remove Christianity, true Bible believing Christianity, you end up with self worship, self absorption.....it has to be about Jesus and not yourself.

A little more bickering and he left angry.
