Jeff Sessions is not qualified to be Attorney General for the USA, He told a bold faced lie to Congress:
There is no Federal Law, that outlaws Marijuana/Cannabis. Past Federal Law's, where ruled to be UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

How did the Federal Government get around this? The Controlled Substance Act. How that act outlaws it is beyond comprehension. By Executive Order, Nixon declared Cannabis as a Schedule one drug of no value to society. How that outlaws it, is beyond me. It could make it illegal for people to claim it has value as a medicine(false advertisement), but the US Supreme Court, has ruled multiple times over the course of a hundred years, "that the Federal Government does not have the authority to outlaw Cannabis".

Session's, told a bold faced lie to Congress. Not only a direct lie, but an indirect lie, as it was an executive order form Nixon, that was used to outlaw Cannabis.

An act of Congress, could not outlaw it, yet an executive order could?

It took a Constitutional amendment to ban a substance that is lethal if you drink too much of it, but a practically harmless plant, can readily be outlawed by fiat decree?

Jeff Session's has proven, his own unfounded bias on this issue, is so severe, that he would bold face lie to Congress, makes him unfit to be the Attorney General.

They don't have the power to regulate most of the things they do... But they do anyways because they don't teach that in school.

So, are you telling me that Congress doesn't already know the law as it pertains to cannabis? Do you think they need Jeff Sessions to tell them what the law is? You are a retard.

Be my guest and challenge it, and then when they arrest you, you can tell the court that "the Federal Government does not have the authority to outlaw Cannabis" and we'll see how far you get.

Try to keep up OP, there's a tread about Sessions and pot laws that was pinned earlier today.
The bottom line is this- as AG he's in charge of prosecuting violations of federal law, if you don't like that law change it. Sessions is not a selective enforcement guy unlike some of his predecessors.

The marijuana tax act was ruled unconstitutional on 5th amendment grounds.

And yes, there is a law. Its called the controlled substances act which was ruled constitutional.

Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Act of 1970

The 1986 Anti-Drug Abuse gave the drug user full accountability. Drug users were to be prosecuted for possession and accordingly penalized. Although some block grants were given for drug treatment, the rehabilitative efforts were insufficient to meet the overwhelming amount of drug abuse

1986 Anti-Drug Abuse Act

The Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986 was a law of the War on Drugs passed by the U.S. Congress. Among other things, they changed the system of federal supervised release from a rehabilitative system into a punitive system.
