I'm afraid that his first step will be aggressive law enforcement, (He's already indicated this in his speeches.). Then, later, he may consider solving the causes of inner city crime. That will be difficult if he can't establish trust between the Police and the neighborhoods, and if he doesn't hold regular symposia in Washington to discover what actually works. I think he's completely out of touch with life in the "hood".

He should do all this at the same time, not enforcement first.
