^^Isn't it then fair to have a more sensible thorough vetting process in place to ensure Americans the rite to not be discriminated against and attacked by people that come into the country with malicious intentions. Having said that then shouldn't the temporary ban make complete sense to the former president if the safety of American citizens has always also been his top priority?

American citizens have earned the rite to be protected against religious persecution. Those constitutional rites belong to American citizens not refugees. If people coming here truly love the country and are seeking asylum against radical jihadis that also kill and behead peaceful Muslims then the temporary ban should be welcoming to them because once they get here as refugees their safety is also more assured.
