Good for him! Washington needs to do something to counter the left wing governor who places politics above people.

This kind of legislation should not even need to be considered, but the reality is that the left is determined to trash the country.

Thanks, OP

What will supporters of the police state say when their beloved police come to arrest them for racist hate speech, confiscate their guns, and force them to board trains headed to the concentration camps?

Re: GOP lawmaker considering bill targeting 'illegal protests'
Free speech and protest is based on peaceable assembly. Blocking traffic, disorderly conduct in public, assault, vandalism, racist and terrorist threats and intentional interference with the public's right to move freely are all fair game for zero tolerance enforcement. The requirement for demonstration permits is Constituionally established.
All characters and events in this forum --even those based on real people-- are entirely fictional. All celebrity comments are impersonated...poorly. The above post contains coarse language and due to the content it should not be viewed by anyone.

Re: GOP lawmaker considering bill targeting 'illegal protests'
Good, there is no such thing as a legal illegal protest.
There must be responsibility placed on the protestors for their actions, even verbal actions.

They all must gain a permit to protest and with that give their ID and personal information such as their address, place of work or lack of it.
Their sponsors or funding and have a criminal check run on them.

Just like a renting/occupying a space not yours, If you cause damages of any kind or disruptions, then you will be billed for it and could also go to jail for it.

You can even be taken before a judge for the amount of damages the judge will appoint unto you and they can be garnisheed or assets taken to pay for it.

Criminal actions go to the police and then the criminal courts.

It is the best way to handle public and private wrong doers, by the law and it's order.
For an orderly way to be kept orderly.
The most precious things are the simple things in life, always present in the simplest of minds.

Instead of fixing the reasons why people are protesting, the elites just ban protesting.
