Re: Can somebody tell me what a London Bridge is?
from what I've just googled, it's either going down (fellatio) or a dump that spans the bowl! lol
The sun worshipping babylonian fucktards of the mystery schools and their 1000 pindar penis points of light have mind washed a nation and desensitized human emotion.

People expect death now, they expect terror.
The mind isn't shure any more which is real and which is Hollywood.

Re: Can somebody tell me what a London Bridge is?
Primarily, Fergie uses the song to express that "every time" the unnamed person to whom she is singing "comes around," her "London London Bridge wanna go down like London London London." This refers to the meaning that is if her “London Bridge” is up then the boats can pass through. And quid pro quo if the bridge is down she is denying access to the boats. This specifically refers to theTower Bridge (located in London, England.) Every time a male that she does not find fit "comes around" (that is to say, approaches the vicinity of the bridge), she brings the bridge down, and denies him permission of getting in her pants.

"What ignorant Americans call Tower Bridge.

People of America, listen up while I drop some science:

The Bridge in London which is impressive to look at and had a Tower (hint) at each end is called Tower Bridge. London Bridge is actually a few hundred yards to the west, and looks like nothing much actually.

1. In 1968, an American, Robert P McCulloch paid $2.5 million dollars to buy London Bridge under the mistaken belief that he was buying Tower Bridge. The then London Bridge was taken down, transported to America and reconstructed at Lake Havasu City in Arizona. (A new London Bridge was opened in London in 1973). D'OH!!

2. The bridge that is seen in the video to London Bridge by Fergie is actually Tower Bridge. D'OH!!!

3. British people still laugh about Americans not knowing the difference between the two. :-)"

Re: Can somebody tell me what a London Bridge is?
huh, this is a different version someone mentioned also:

"

A sexual position akin to an eiffel tower. Much cooler than the foursome brand, its threesome variant features two ladies and a gentleman. The gentleman will lie down on his back with his member erect. One lady will then mount his genitals, while the other straddles his face. The two ladies should be facing one another and may make contact, if desired. The gentleman will perform intercourse and cunnilingus as applicable. If they choose, when approaching climax, the participants may exclaim "the London Bridge is falling down!" as they will no doubt be so fatigued when they finish, that they will collapse upon one another."

London bridge is broken down
Nursery Rhyme
Lyrics, History and Origins

Nursery Rhyme & History

Who was Lady Lee?
The origins of this nursery rhyme are truly fascinating and have roots in the extraordinary events surrounding King Henry VIII of England (1491–1547) and his second, tragic, wife Anne Boleyn. The 'Lady Lee' referred to in the Nursery Rhyme was, in fact, Lady Margaret Wyatt, the sister of Thomas Wyatt the poet. She married Sir Anthony Lee of Quarrendon and thus became Lady Lee. The Wyatts were neighbours of the Boleyn family and Anne and Margaret were childhood friends.

Anne Boleyn

As Anne rose in power Margaret accompanied her and become a trusted lady-in-waiting. When Anne was accused of bigamy Thomas Wyatt was accused with her, but he was later released.

Margaret, Lady Lee, stayed with Anne Boleyn until her execution and attended the ill-fated queen on the scaffold. The nursery rhyme 'London bridge is broken down' can be described as an allegory - a description of one thing under the image of another.

The words of the nursery rhyme are believed to describe the rise and fall of Anne Boleyn (the gay ladye) and the lyrics use the name of Lady Lee to clearly identify the central character, Anne Boleyn.

The Hidden Secrets in Nursery Rhymes

Many nursery rhymes have secret, hidden, meanings and allude to people and events in history. Anne Boleyn was hated by the common people of England, due to her haughty manner and the common folk's strong allegiance to Henry VIII's first wife, Katherine of Aragon.

Open criticism of Anne was approved and encouraged during the reigns of Henry VIII and his eldest daughter Mary (Bloody Mary - Henry and Katherine's daughter). But when Queen Elizabeth I ascended to the throne all such approval and criticism stopped - the new Queen was the daughter of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn.

London Bridge (Lake Havasu City)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

London Bridge in Lake Havasu City
The sign on London Bridge, Lake Havasu City, during April 2005The London Bridge, currently located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona was originally constructed in London, England in 1831. By 1962, the bridge was not structurally sound enough to support the increased load created by the level of modern traffic crossing it and it was sold by the City of London.

The purchaser, Robert McCulloch, was the founder of Lake Havasu and the chairman of McCulloch Oil Corporation. The bridge was carefully disassembled and each piece was numbered. It was shipped to its present location and re-assembly began in 1968. The reconstruction took slightly over three years and was completed in late 1971. It currently serves as a popular tourist attraction for the city.

It is a popular rumour that the bridge was bought in the belief that it was, in fact, London's more recognisable Tower Bridge[1][2][3], but this has been debunked by Ivan Luckin, who sold the bridge. [4]

Recent years have seen a large amount of development in the area of the Bridge to increase tourist interest, though much of the development has been met with criticism by local residents. The original "English Village", a quaint English-style open air mall with hedge maze and historical museum, has fallen to disrepair with sections leveled. Many compare the changes to those now seen on the American side of Niagara Falls, where ill-planned growth caused the swift decline in the desirability of the area.

Well Sherlock, it's not clear from this that you know what you're talking about either.

Tower Bridge doesn't get its name because there is a tower at each end. It gets its name because it is near the Tower of London.
