DO NOT USE BLEACH ON MOLD. It will not kill the mold. If going natural is your thing then use white vinegar and water. BLEACH is the worst choice. The Best choice if the mold is really bad is cutting the sheet rock out and spraying the wood underneath with vinegar and water. Wait for the wood to dry and paint the studs. Always no matter what wear a good dust mask. Real mold problems should be handled by a certified mold removal company.

What are talking about? Bleach is the choice of mold experts and it kills it almost instantly. Vinegar can actually cause other bacteria to grow and now you will have the area smelling like piss/vinegar.

Cheap spray bottle, 4 parts water, 1 part bleach. Spray. Done.

i had a spare room in my house once that i never went into. not ever. i used it to store my mum's artwork. i went into it finally when i was moving and one wall was solid black from mold. so i bleached it. it took a day or so but it cleared up. pretty sure that bleach doesn't kill the mold but only changes the color as one poster already mentioned. after i moved it probably went back to black. not my fault, i mentioned the water on the toilet floor and told them to clean the gutters. there was also mushrooms growing out of the carpet. not sure where i was going with this story. i like stories.
