The Greek foot was 320mm, the Indus valley civs foot was 333mm, and the Egyptians primarily used cubits and their foot would range from 270 to 350mm depending on where and when you were. Any of those would throw your measurement way the fuck off when multiplied by a factor of 1000. Not to mention the number of days in a year has no connection to the circumference of the Earth and the use of "1000" is seemingly completely arbitrary. |
