Jonny Smoke User ID: 71630679 United States 02/09/2017 07:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | He itches badly and chews until he bleeds. Looks like mange or mites. He is 100% indoor cat so I don't know how this happened. He is 13 and never had anything like this before. I treated him for a week with antibiotic cream the doctor gave me and it did nothing. Now I have switched to diatomaceous earth and it has been a week. No change. Anyone cure this? Quoting: Catman 43081424 My cat had the same thing. He was allergic to fleas. I got rid of the fleas and the problem went away. |

But what finally worked is a machine that helps grow hair. [link to successdevice.net] This machine helped me grow back most of my hair like within few weeks. Truly amazing. At first I was skeptical. So I basically ordered their build it yourself kit to save money. But it worked. |

TheOracle'sCookie User ID: 72015195 United States 09/01/2017 10:29 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Check his diet. Senior cats will sometimes develop food allergies which they never had as younger cats. I've had to change the diet for my 8 year old cat and it cleared up is problem. I'd always start with diet first (after checking for insects or something he is eating--like a house plant that he's allergic to.) Most commercial grade cat foods are loaded with not only unhealthy grains (cats need MEAT)...BUT with other addititives to keep the food fresh--these can be the source as well. Best of luck with your kitty--and don't hesitate to take him back to the vet. (I know it's expensive.) Cheers! O'sCookie "Know ONE thing absolutely...and you will UNDERSTAND everything.
