Farmers ins. was looking for a receptionist. I told them my Mom was looking for work. They said no because she didn't speak Spanish. They got their last check from me that day.

Wells Fargo put up an add on a billboard in my neighborhood
all in Spanish. I asked why there was no English on it. They said it was because of the demographic in my area.

Guess what? I removed my money and cut my card right in front of them.

Hey ibew member. I routinely tell kids to try your union it is truly the best of all of them. My only reverting life is that I didn't join when I was starting work. But then again I was at the end of the boomers and they were not accepting applicants. Truly the best of the trades

I don't see the illegals as "slave labor". They knew what they were doing...and that is part of the deal they CHOSE by coming here illegally. Just like any other crook...the "job conditions" aren't always ideal...BUT they CHOOSE it....slaves do NOT.

You might also talk with him about going to school and learning a trade where he could make even more money.

That way, he will earn enough to get married have a family and purchase a home.

I have picked crops every summer for many years as a kid/teenager. The money went to buy school clothes for the coming year. MANY kids used to pick these crops.

ALL of the other jobs that Americans supposedly won't do...ANOTHER BIG LIE...WERE done by Americans...and WILL be again!

I guess you somehow don't know this...but AMERICA can grow all these crops here. There will be people to pick them. Automation will also be used (much cleaner...no more e coli...yah!)
