I just cant imagine one nuclear reactor meltdown being that big of a deal.

I can see it affecting local sealife greatly, but dilution takes into affect over distance. I cant imagine this affecting the US at all, maybe Hawaii a little bit in the way of rain. It would affect them much earlier than the US, and I dont see them having problems.

Fukushima is and always has been an ELE. Ask yourself this, WHY in the fuck is the entire world not banding together to solve this shit, the entire pacific Ocean has now been affected.

Yup - Chernobyl was 1/4 the size of the 3 breached BWR reactors at Fukushima. Chernobyl used Uranium, Fukushima MOX Plutonium. So, Fukushima is roughly 1000x worse than Chernobyl since the contamination is flowing directly into the largest food source on the planet.
