So how can an ordinary person help out?

You need to make a handwritten flyer, succinct, neat and to the point.... Make xerox copies, several hundred will cost you $10.00 at a time..... Wearing hat, scarf, hoodie, dark glasses, etc., you then distribute these far away from surveillance cameras, and make sure your car is parked well away and out of sight. Use your imagination. Now, get busy.
