Breaking---Massive FEMA response to Oroville Dam . New Feb 16
Fema is responding from ever corner of the US. They are staging material and manpower at Travis Air force base. Why? I think we all know why they would not be staging a massive FEMA response to a so called, non event.. They believe theres a good chance the Dam will fail with the up coming rains.. It wont let me give the linky. Some kind of copy-write nonsense. ... But its at Chico--er dot com...general-news/20170216/fema-stages-at-air-force-base-ready-to-help-in-oroville

This says more than anything that what the public is being told is utter bullshit. Sure, they always prep just in case. That's FEMA's job but prepping on this scale, they must have information that's being held back from the public.

So let me get this straight. First they evacuate because the dam might go, then they tell people to go back home because it is all under control, and now Fema is getting ready for the end times to happen at the dam? wtf Sounds about like the way the government does $hit alright. " Oh go back home people everything is fine and dandy" yet behind their hands they tell Fema to get ready for the dam to collapse. Yep sounds about right to me.

A couple hundred semi loads of supplies is a pretty reasonable hedge, considering the recent evac involved 200,000 people. It's a prudent forward-deploy logistics action to an area of currently high risk.

What they really need to be doing is putting a few new
permanent large diameter, fully enclosed steel pipes
on stubby pylons down through the emergency spillway area,
to add emergency CFS capacity. Start with one and get it
done, then add a second, then a third.

A lot of risk is due to that emergency spillway being
effectively useless due to the erosion potential, which
badly limits the options due to main spillway damage.

Big pipes--fast. They should be trucking in material, pile
driving pylon anchors, installing pipe like madmen, right now.
That emergency spillway area should look like the World Welding Convention, non-stop.

If the 10 inch predictions are correct the emergency spillway will fail.

I feel two ways on that. First, the "disaster" hasn't actually happened yet. It's like looking at radar and there's a hurricane filling the whole Gulf. You know it's coming. Second, CA has been the most traitorous loudest state on the Trump hate, assassination threats, riots. He will fly there when it happens, that part you can take to the bank. Our people are our people even if we're mad at them.

Don't forget though, this part of Cali's map is RED.

Why Travis?

Beale AFB is much closer to Oroville. Unless they expect the whole dam to go, in which case it would impact Sacramento.

For anyone who had not seen this declaration, as I had not:

“It’s all based on the president declaring a state of emergency on Feb. 14,” explained Veronica Verde, external affairs officer with FEMA’s SoCal field office."

Who are FEMA officers? Weren't they supposed to control the FEMA Guillotines in the future?

Couldn't it be California is calling in it's private army?

Beale is much closer, but it's smaller and a bigger risk
to get cut off by flooding, is my guess. It's only a
few miles east of the Feather River, and has inferior major highway access compared to Travis.

And as you note, Travis is better situated if Sacramento gets
impacted.
