Re: Fear of rejection
So long as you see yourself as wounded, you will worry that others will too, but the fact is that everyone carries a wound of some sort. Sometimes it can help, as a thought exercise, to picture others as having gone through similar, but different, traumatic experiences you have. Would it change how you would treat a person if you knew such a thing about him or her to be true?

As for the rejection, another thought exercise is too look at a situation where there is the potential for rejection in a different way. Rather than hope to find and picturing a perfect way to approach the situation, picture as many possible reasons as you can think of for why a woman would reject you that have nothing to do with you or your approach.

This should help you to recognize potential outcomes you would not be hopeful for and in effect is a bit of reverse psychology that can serve to help you to be more free of being emotionally attached to any one desired outcome. Having pre-formed expectations from an interaction is usually a significant source of a fear of rejection.
