It's just a family of mostly English speaking nations that have meet ups and a sporting event every four years. It's not a political entity or trade area or anything.

India, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Canada, Australia, South Africa and Jamaica are members - all pretty independent nations to me.

Several years ago, in the Art Bell Radio days, I heard a live interview with Art and Stan Deyo. Stan had moved back from Australia by then and had settled in the Four Corners area. I will remember this as accurately as I can.
Stan was summoned to a meeting with a unnamed female in Dallas Texas. Stan was very popular at the time, and had been a prolific guest on Art's CtoC show and was very connected to Naval Intelligence. Stan was gifted in some psychic abilities as well, and this woman, in Dallas was interested in offering him a position in her "staff" when she was given the title of "Regent" after the NWO carved up the country and put it's minions in charge.
Stan didn't get any more detailed than that when he told Art the story of the encounter. He turned the woman down for the offer and went back home. Stan was flying on a plane that was stricken with engine trouble suddenly during the flight. The engine, or at least one (I don't remember what kind of plane it was) caught fire and Stan attributed his safe emergency landing to the very skilled Viet Nam era pilot that saved the plane and whom ever else was on board. It shook Stan up and we all clearly understood he thought the plane was sabotaged. He didn't say that directly but it was clear to Art and all the listeners.
The fact that some self aggrandizing woman in Texas thinks she is worthy of a Regency position is bad enough .... but it always worried me to think there was someone, with some kind of authority that promised her such a position in the future, and made me more terrified.
Several years ago I E mailed Stan and asked him about the incident. I asked him who the woman was that thought she was so important. He respectfully declined to answer, for privacy and safety (security) reasons.
Don't sell the globalists short on any hair brained idea they may conceive.

The E.U. started exactly that way. "Just a trade and travel arrangement". Then when everyone got suckered in it became an un-elected bunch of psychopaths in Brussels telling every member nation what to do.

It would be a very bad idea for a number of reasons.

Just look at the England, Australia and the rest of the commonwealth. Citizens disarmed and at the mercy of Muslim ISIS invaders who rape, steal and murder and no way for the citizens to fight back.

Then look at free speech. Any PC thing they can think of and you get caught talking about it then it is straight off to prison like Holocaust denial.

Think of the bigger picture.
The UN dont function, the EU cant function, NATO is past its use by date. With the EU hell bent on destroying the USA and the UK.

With USA in Commonwealth, it would be the biggest trade block the world has ever seen, with territory spanning the entire globe, especially with Australia and NZ close to the eastern emerging potential threat. The USA would have a large influence in matters, probably the largest. The EU would be irrelevant if they even still exist by that time.
There would be no more division in global Power decisions, and strategy in regard to all matters domestic and foreign.
It would be a 1 language global power (india included, where more indians speak english than any other country where english is not the main language. Idians assimilate) The future could be very bright and I believe it is the only way to preserve our mutual cultural and democratic identity.
Demographics show clearly, we will all be swallowed up under an islamic sun in a very short time unless a radical plan is put into motion soon.

The future beyond could be very very bright for the species, for the world and for beyond.
