This case had nothing to do with not being able to afford food. His "caregivers" look very well fed.

Cases like this are why I am becoming a big supporter of the death penalty. Some people don't deserve to live.

I was thinking maybe they were collecting disability on him and living it up while he was discarded and left to rot. But, wouldn't they need doctor visits and follow-ups to receive that?

Motion to reinstate cruel and unusual punishment in special cases like this one....

Those thoughts crossed my mind to. Check ups could easily have been constantly put back multiple times with excuse after excuse then a child can easily fall through the system and be overlooked which happens all the time.

The poor kid had cerebral palsy and was blind. It seems like he would've needed constant check-ups, physical therapies, and possibly medications.

I don't understand how someone with such severe disabilities could fall through the system like that.

If that is indeed what happened, there should be a lot more people getting charged. They're just as guilty.

This kind of suffering makes me feel that God does not actually exist.

Hell, my oldest daughter was 9 lbs. when she was born.

This tragic exception proves the rule that nobody in America is starving. I've never met anyone starving, and I know people that get double in food stamps than my monthly food budget. There are food banks, soup kitchens, school programs...The only reason you'd be starving in the US is you sold you food benefits (for drugs) AND you're such a disagreeable prick that even a church won't feed you. Sorry, but it's true.
