You know what I think is going to have to happen?

I think the US will march in and make those Latin American countries all the way to Panama colonies of the US, dump the handful of families that run them and loot their stuff, take their money and invest it there, and clean up the mess the Spaniards left long ago, and make those countries into decent neighbors that don't come into our garage and 'borrow' our tools.

As long as those Spanish families are in charge, there will be no real development of any industries but drug and human trafficking, there will be no creation of jobs, no future for the people who live there.

Maybe that needs to be fixed.

The whole "path to citizenship" talking point is a false argument from the start, because there has always been a "path to citizen ship". Just because illegal aliens and their enablers don't like that "path" doesn't mean it isn't there or doesn't work.

The "path" is called naturalization and millions of people have walked that path. Legal emigrants become naturalized full fledged citizens every year. Illegal aliens want to skip to the front of the line and not have to naturalize to become Americans and that's the whole problem. If you want to become one of us then do it the right way. If you don't, get the hell out of our country.

No, Reagan granted blanket amnesty and that made the problem worse over the years. Path to citizenship is much the same, will just encourage them.

As far as Dreamers here with their illegal parents, if the Dreamers are under legal age, they can go back with their parents. When they are legal age they can reenter the US with their BC if they wish. If they are 18 or older and are sustaining themselves (no fed or state aid) they can stay. We don't need to be supporting them.

Anchor babies need to be dealt with with this Congress. Pass some legislation and put an end to it.

One thing can be said. With the new rules on deportation, illegals getting violent during protesting can be deported for breaking the law. What a concept.

If they can pass a background check, prove they're financially sufficient enough to not depend on government funds, sign something giving up their right to welfare for the first ten years as well as giving the US immediate rights to deport them if they commit a felony during those years, and jump through every single hoop that normal people have to jump through to get into a country legally - why not?
