You know...After experiencing my own success in treating my digestive disorder (which is supposed to be incurable) ,researching a little more about what foods our ancestors may have eaten and how our species have spent far more time eating raw foods...I'm almost convinced that that's where mankind went wrong. Cooking our food. Destroying bio-photons and a large percentage of the nutrition in them.

Right! Did you know that fallen angels taught us to cook food? It's from Enoch:

Cooking destroys 100% of enzymes.

Without enzymes you die - so the body has to make its own instead of just ingest them from raw plants.

Interesting! Another tie in to the Essenes.

A year or so ago I started having health issues. I thought I'd been eating an OK diet but I knew something was amiss. One day while contemplating what could be the solution, "Essene diet" popped into my mind. At that time, I knew a little about the Essene but had no idea they had a special diet.

Going vegetarian has definitely helped my health but now I'm ready for the next step. Thank you so much for this thread OP!

Cashew cheeses?!
Truffles?!

Recipes please!!!
 Quoting: ~Bodhi 73904749

seriously - trader joes has an extra creamy coconut milk (can) - leave in fridge overnight - spoon hardened cream into blender with your fave cacao powder and a little sweetener of your choosing. I like to use organic powdered sugar. Keep it kinda hard - a little maca powder is a nice touch. Blend - (props if you have a vitamix), scrape sides down and continue to blend until smooth - thick if you want to make truffles, thinner if you want mousse. Then either just put in container to eat a spoonful of when choco craving hits, or refrigerate a little more and roll them into balls, dip in cacao powder, coconut, nuts - your choice.

so much yummm....

Cashew cheeses are great - since I like creamy pasta dishes. Soak cashews overnight in water. Drain, add a little salt, garlic, lemon juice and pepper to taste - then add 3 Tablespoons of nutritional yeast for each cup of cashews - presoak. I like to blend mine with more cashew milk or almond milk. This makes a creamy cheese.

To thicken, add tapioca flour in sauce pan to blended mixture - 1/2 cup to every cup of presoaked cashews.

Experiment with seasonings and herbs -

When i figure out how to make a nice aged white cheddar flavor I will pm you..lol

Fun to make and eat and if you really want to be healthy have zero sugar and zero cocao. Just because it's raw does not mean it is good for you. There are plenty of poisonous plants. Cacao has caffeine in it which is a powerful drug that kills people:

Pretty sure the quotes are messed up here - but raw, sustainable and wild harvested Cacao - not cocao - is a superfood. (and one of the mildest entheogens on the planet). In it's natural state - and I am not talking about the factory farmed cocoa that Nestle uses, as it has been genetically modified to keep the sweeter beans. The original, mother nature version has over 800 fun things in it for your body to love and grow with. It even opens up your heart chakra.

And magnesium in just the right amount for humans.

I have a source for shaman harvested cacao.

And no, I didn't even know it existed as so many things have just been butchered from their original form by the cravings of humanity.

Much love.

We have non GMO, organically grown cacao here on Kauai. If I can find just the right spot, I want to put in at least one tree on our property. The fruit is sweet and edible too.

Oh happy day!!! My husband is all excited and ready to take the plunge into 100% raw vegan! We're planning on starting with a 10 day master cleanse and then fully raw.

Plus, we are also wanting to not only eat completely local but grow as much of what we eat as possible and barter for the rest.

Right now I'm going to delve into my Sunny Savage book on foraging for wild edibles on Kauai.

I eat tons of raw fruits, some raw veggies, and a good amount of nuts in the summer. Also, I eat a lot of boiled eggs and drink tea with local honey. I pretty much live on that during the summer because I don't like heavy foods and I don't have to bother to cook. Man, I can eat an entire watermelon in two days! It's funny how I always lose weight in the summer and then pack it back on in the winter. In the winter, I want hot - you know, meat and potatoes.

I eat sweet potatoes with cultured butter, or some kind of whole grain porridge with cultured butter ... all winter long.

I have been trying to cut down on the meats during the winter, which means I've been making a lot more soups and stews. You can make a chicken breast or a few ounces of beef stretch for several meals that way and still get the idea of eating the meat, but with more plant-based foods. I know that eating the foods raw is healthier, but when it's 10 degrees outside, I just crave heavier meals. I like sweet potatoes, too, baked, and served with butter (but I have to use a little bit of brown sugar on mine).

Actually, I have been drinking tea to cut back on my coffee consumption. Often, I drink lighter teas what don't have as much caffeine. I don't think I will ever be able to wean myself totally from coffee. But, more recent studies have shown that coffee drinkers live longer. So I figure a good-sized cup in the morning along with a couple of glasses/cups of tea during the day probably won't do that much to me. I'm sure the environmental chemicals I come across do more harm.

Scientists lie. They can make any study show anything.

All these kind of studies and those that say chocolate is good for you came out after "Caffeine blues". Don't fall for it. Caffeine is a major cause of stroke - increases blood pressure + decreases blood pipe width. Very bad.

Try zero caffeine for 2 months and see the difference. Read "Caffeine blues".
