Grew up 5 miles south of the D and did live in the D for 10 years ( I am white !). Of course there are brilliant and exceptional blacks....BUT we draw our perceptions from statistic probabilities....in both shortcomings and success.....

True story. When I was 5 years old I lived in then pretty much White City with European descendants in it. One day a black family ,wife husband two boys and a daughter move next door to me. Instantly morale in the neighborhood went down dramatically all the neighbors were talking about it.in shock. It wasn't more than just a couple 3 days and my bike was stolen. And the Chinaman at the Chinese Corner Store a block away started complaining and standing at the door watching everybody come in because he was all of the sudden missing large amounts of merchandise. He's suspected everybody all of the sudden not knowing what the problem was .he ended up catching the black boy stealing. Soon after that the father left never saw him again the older boy never saw him very often and then found out he had gone to jail for a long time for don't know what. The daughter ended up growing up to be a prostitute at 16 and had her throat slashed out with a broken beer bottle . I remember a lot of people selling their homes and leaving just because of them moving in. And then a Pakistani family moved in right across the street from me and then the neighborhood really went to shit these people would never leave their house and the husband open up a clothing store and put most of the retailers on a rope. He started making suits for a quarter of the price of suits at the time. I moved from that location as well. What was one real happy Community where everybody knew each other hang out with each other all the sudden became infested with blacks and they started causing problems everywhere including and mostly in the schools. People became defensive reclusive in their own country.
