Bill nigh is a complete idiot. Tucker either has no idea of the science or just didn't want to bring a conversation about it because he's not a scientist either. I would love to have a conversation with bill nigh on live TV. That would be epic.

There is no doubt climate change is happening. This debate was not about who is right. This was purely political. There is no way either could prove they are right. It only shows that the liberal left is done. If you question anything they are spouting then you are evil. It's an agenda, not science.

Sounds like Bill Nye needs to look at a simple chart used for navigation (marine). On every chart there is a compass rose. The legend for the compass rose shows EVERY TIME what the annual deviation (degrees) is and how many degrees needs to be added or subtracted from the date the chart was published. Adding or subtract degrees is no different than driving your car 5 hours north. You will see a "change" in climates. It is due to the oscillation of the earth (the earth is not perfectly round, it is wider at the equator than from the poles. It wobbles. The cycle of the wobble determines the warming or cooling on a scale anyone person could measure in their lifetime. Everything else is BULLSHIT. They never mention this and all it would take is a Tucker Carlson to play show and tell.

I don't know how Tucker can stand talking to these nuts night after night. The thing that distinguishes Tucker from the rest is that he asks critical questions and asks for actual proof or facts or stats from these people who are so used to just making blind, unchallenged assertions. It's refreshing.

And then a veiled threat, unbelievable stupidity. Also Tucker tried and was trying to peg him on a valid overwhelming evidence, science conclusion, with what percent.

The reality is, Science asks questions, not deciding conclusive answers. Because in the end, a "conclusive overwhelming evidence thing" can change when science upgrades and new "causes" are found, ones they hadn't tested or thought about. Its all cause and effect.

What current scientists are doing is, noticing an effect, and then naming their pet cause and politically promoting falsehood that is not science.

In reality, when you have an effect, any number of causes can create this or contribute.

So you'd have to list and test for many that are probabilities, ie in your learned experience or shared knowledge have a higher likelihood of being important, and even possibilities.


Point already given in the thread, and one link out of countless others offered, for the entire solar system heating up, and also another article that could be linked would be NASA saying we're going through this hot cloud, possibly a supernova, that has been nicknamed fluffy, and there are magnetic strips or bands, that are associated with this hot cloud our solar system is traveling through, that is the reason for suspecting the remnants of a super nova exist.

And they say those magnetic strips can't enter our solar system, which is probably not true.

So that right there is 1 possible cause to the effects, out of countless others.

It is agreed that climate change is a constant - with or without man.

Therefore, the climate was going to go from X to Y in Z years without man. All other things being equal, what has Z become because of what man has done. That's it. That's the question.
