Why is it that...

Happens to me too whenever I start to "wake up".

It's like people subconsciously pick up on your increased awareness and act against you...

That's EXACTLY how it is.

When i'm "going along to get along" everything's all good. But when i "snap out of the funk" so to speak, and speak the truth, i'm met with lies, and repeated attempts to "put me back in place". Crazy.

some people think they are living in a matrix and claim that makes them awakened... what is your definition of waking up?

I don't like that bullcrap of "being in a matrix". I think the idea is the same to a degree though.

One thing i'm learning is that no matter what I think I know, I really don't know much. BUT I do know, that God told us to simply ask and we will receive. If we want the truth, and genuinely PRAY for it, God will slowly open our hearts and minds to the reality we live in over time.

That is my idea of being awakened. Is something only the one TRUE God can do to us. Not this new-age bullcrap.

It IS a "matrix". Not a literal computer, but a fallen matrix of matter and time, which traps our spirit.

I started to "wake up" after I started believing in God and asked Him to reveal the truth to me with intent in my heart. It changed my life in many ways.

Waking up is difficult to describe. It's a state of mind and self-awareness, a state of consciousness, and of spirituality. The only way I can describe it is, it's kind of like "waking up" in a dream and becoming lucid. Gaining true self-awareness for the first time.

Waking up has NOTHING to do with thinking reality is a matrix, believing the government did 9/11, or secret societies run the world, or anything like that. It's an internal state of being, self-actualization, and awareness. A connection to the truth...

You don't gotta tell me twice lol. Definitely tough though when the people around you seek to dull your shine.

I'm in the same boat, OP.

It took me years to understand that most people are completely incapable of seeing the truth (or waking up).

Whether it's genetics, spiritual, or something else, I don't know.

They're stuck in their little false reality and they seem quite happy to stay there.

how boring would it be if everyone was the same

They usually either imprison me or force psychiatry upon me or both until I end up smashing heads in then rinse repeat and here we come again when im just about to pop off almost before the final judgment day pops off.. I feel ya the world is a fucked up place for those who are not 1 with the vibration of shit.. thats all they are to me shit.. most of the world that is..

Simple... because you threaten their belief system so are considered a threat the more you separate yourself.
