I made software 2 years ago that detects unauthorized cam and mic usage
It also plays an irritating loud noise into the microphone when not in use by speaking into it.

Is it time to release it?
If so how much would you pay for it?

do you believe that who can hack the cam light and override cam driver disabling, can't hack also your stupid software once it will be public?

The problem is that privacy laws are no more protecting people since that fucking 2001. If they was, every company would have been forced to provide hardware switcher to turn off camera and mics or at least those fucking privacy windows on the cameras!

You have a good point.
the real thing is to get rid of foreign agency surveillance.
Most all surveillance is done by agencies in a foreign theocratic govt that uses a corrupt and fraudulent form of eugenics to segregste itself from all other's

The software takes complete admin control of the devices. Any release of permissions or sharing the device alerts the user. Works like a gem. Most of you dont even know the exploits built into everyday programs like outlook.

My software catches ANY attempt.

It is the same that was told by antivirus and software firewall companies but matter of facts they are all hackable and adds more lacks in security at kernel level

Re: I made software 2 years ago that detects unauthorized cam and mic usage
Essentially the software will tell you every file attempting to access your cam and mic.

For example when you open Chrome it tries to connect to both devices. You can determine which programs have what permissions to access the cam or mic.

YES their maybe exploits in everyday devices like Skype, Outlook, Gotowebinar etc but you can with a simple toggle send irritating LOUD noises through the mic when not in use and deliver old tv static through the cam when not in use.

There is no way an unattended PC can send audio or video through the internet if your permission not granted.

This is badly needed.

Make it affordable to the mainstream not just the wealthy.
You could be the Robin Hood of privacy.

Why is it needed?

After today such tech is obsolete

Why?

Because you are ALWAYS under surveillance
when near a smart device

Always

Before today this test was badly needed and valuable

Today, it's a dinosaur

But brilliant idea though

Release it for free.

I don't like the idea that Google and Microsoft can hear me fart.

They're really loud, you know. Since a young age, I've been able to control the sound and volume of my farts. It's almost artistic, but it's private.

You would be appalled at the programs you may use that i use that try to take liberties of your cam or mic EVEN WHEN THOSE PROGRAMS DONT USE THEM TO BEGIN WITH

On average about one new alert per day, as i download alot of stuff and install. That being said you might think that getting alerts constantly would be irritating.

My software you can set the permissions and the software remembers forever. For example, eveytime you open a chrome window would fire the alert.

You can set it to automatically disallow and suppress future alerts of that software trying to take access.

The process of control my software uses is unbreakable. I even hired some damn good hackers to try anything to overcome it. Now they use it!

Re: I made software 2 years ago that detects unauthorized cam and mic usage
Learn to unlock frequency locks on your wireless adapter.

But be sure to SNIFF ONLY. Even then, stay white because I think the gov can track a wireless adapter only listening.

Something about backscatter vacuum.

THEN you can look across a LARGE bandwidth. Very large.

Look how hard the gov acted to keep people from breaking frequency locks. Way in the kernel.

Re: I made software 2 years ago that detects unauthorized cam and mic usage
If you make a simple oscillator from an opamp or 555 and wire it to a piezo, secure piezo immediately next to mic.

When you need to protect audio, have that piezo oscillator circuit produce a loud buzz over powering the mic.

Test first.

I think a frequency just above human hearing can over power mics, but not certain as I never tried/tested such a thing. Would drive the neighborhood dogs wacko.

Or just drip epoxy into the mic. A perma-fix.

Another cool feature on the software is the child protect mode. If it is a child computer and you dont want fucking weirdos baiting them on skype or similar program, its kills the cam and mic until your password is entered. Or you can allow certain programs to allow at certain times.

Can't make back doors to code that is encrypted. Hence why do they contact Microsoft, Apple, Google, Facebook to request back doors. Its not the back doors but the back door dealings you need to worry about.

I have been writing software on and off for over 20 years, I worked coding fulltime for five years. Your title seems strange, you made software, you don’t make software, you make cars, you make food, you make houses, when you refer to software, you write software and anyone I know or whom I have worked with in the software industry would not use the word make to describe there coding.
