Women surprised that i eat more than one meal a day?

Any woman i've ever talked to about food was always shocked that i eat like 4-6 small meals a day. They would say that they only ever eat dinner and that's it. The girl i lived with for a long time would never eat breakfast, lunch etc all she would eat is just one plate of food a day and maybe an odd snack or two.

Is it normal for a woman to only eat one meal a day where you live?
