It looks like Indian government is lobbying Trump administration for H1B visas. We are selling our jobs to the people from India while the graduates from our colleges will be left unemployed.

He did halt the 'expedited processing' program in which companies could pay an extra fee to move their H1-B applications to the front of the line.

The indians create all these bs "consulting" companies. There's tons and tons of them. All they are doing is looking at the jobs posted by the few real companies and then posting their own ads for those jobs all over the net. What they're trying to do is get a real potential worker to send the resume to THEM rather than directly to the company so that they can take a cut of their hourly wage/work or get a big placement fee. That's all it is.

So when you look you see tons of jobs, but there's really only one job underneath all that crap.

This likely skews how many jobs they believe there are.

You'll see 100's of applicants (certain sites you can see this) for these jobs.

Recall during the RNC debates when that cuban was asked about H1-B visas and the apparent corruption by corporations who fire a bunch of Americans and then a few months later hire a bunch of foreigners? Well remember right after that question they went to Trump, and Trump said he changed his mind. He loves foreign worker visas and believes we need them.

it isnt just h4 visas (spouses of h1b......who are NOT all indian females, some are indian MALES).....last place i worked, where i was a minority in a sea of indians, there were @4 different types of visa holders working at this institution which everyone in the USA knows....definitely a household name.

Excuse me? Aren't we agreeing? My point is that they push the "we can't find capable people" so they can bring in more foreigners to take American jobs. But when you look at some of the jobs out there you will see there are a ton of applicants for a slim number of available jobs.
