Uh oh! Do you think that means normal solar wind having a heightened effect because the shield is down? I don't think so, I think these satellites are further out in space than the edge of the magnetosphere but I'm not positive. On the Sun side the magnetosphere compresses to approx 110 earth radii in,these satellites are about 6 earth radii out....
