It's still a very small number. If you read the article the number is 197. So last year it was maybe 98 kids? There are genuine cases of this, it is a legitimate mental illness.
You just don't want kids going through phases and never getting back on track. But it's going to come down to parenting, a lot of these kids would probably end up being gay anyway.
If they didn't change genders, they probably wouldn't be reproducing anyway so it's whatever.
