Wife just found out she has rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. Anyone deal with these?

Thanks for all the advice. My wife has always been the person that takes a ton of vitamins, tries to eat organic whem she can. She went through alot of abuse as a child and as a rwsult her personality is that she gets stressed out easily and I think that contributes a lot.

She is getting Tumeric today.

Ask her if she's ever taken a fluoroquinolone antibiotic: Levaquin, Cipro, Avelox.

Studies have shown that Tumeric is mostly effective when combined with black pepper.

I have RA. For real.

The only thing to make a difference is diet.

I cut out all dairy, egg and gluten. Introduced more natural foods, nothing processed.

Literally, within 24 hrs the inflammation want down by about 60-70%.

It keeps improving. I have far more mobility and minimal inflammation. Flares up when I've eaten something my immune system doesn't like. It's a process of elimination.

All of you should listen to this: every time you drink milk or eat eggs or products made with gluten you are eating poison. None of these 'foods' is normal or natural. They're all full of antibiotics, hormones, GMO components, farm shit and infections.

This diet has given me back my life. It's a big change. But it's your choice. Keep eating the crap that Big Farming and Big Pharma shove at us, or start eating real good food.

The thing that is messed up, she also has goit in her right foot, and purine causes it to flare....so it is like now she cant eat much protien, she cant eat carbs. I am not sure what she can eat at this point. I guess organic fruit and vegetables, nuts?

Have them do another blood test.Daughter was told the same thing.They did another blood test and everything was normal.Get this my daughter in law was told on the same day she had graves .They did another test and everything was normal.Both blood works were wrong.

I have polyarthritis including rheumatoid arthritis. I try to be good and have ginger and what have you turmeric - i buy the stuff and make it up then forget it is there as my memory is in ruins too - and the exhaustion is terrible - I am getting over anaemia too - so not had energy for so long - i find vitamin B gives me a boost and i am also taking vitamin D and 305mg iron but i feel there are other mineral deficiencies too - its hard when you're tired to sort yourself out.

My feet and legs get so sore - something that is really good for the imflammation - last year i stood in a freezing cold stream in wales and i stayed til it hurt - just for the experience of feeling - and omg my feet were bliss after this for a couple of weeks - so if you get polystyrene cups and fill with water and freeze and do ice massage - takes guts but you stop feelign the cold after a while -


I recently read that salt - sea salt and.... epsom salt foot baths are supposed to help - i bought the ingredients but not done it yet - it says hot water for that one to absorb the magnesiu i think



also - and i know this is cray - the worst my fingers and wrists got a couple of years back - i could barely hold anything or open anything or hold a plate to wash - it ws very scary - but I took the pain and T-cut my car inch by inch - and it was like a miracle - kind of like doing the opposite to what you think to do - you might think you would make it worse not help it but it helped.


I also had fluid retaining in my back and my friend did a fluid drainage massage - the fluid drained from my back to my knees and ankles which swelled and it was awful - i couldn't go up or down stairs - but when it drained away after a few days - it was wonderful so maybe there was a lymph blockage - i wish i had someone to massage me - the pain is constant but massage really reallly helps.


I also have some liquid chlorophyl and eat coconut oil or hemp oil when i remember - i try to put things where i will see them so i will remember - i forget a lot.

She may have fluoroquinolone toxicity, from the Cipro, which mimics lupus and RA. What are her symptoms? Levaquin and Cipro can cause permant problems. Check out the facebook group Fluoroquinolone Toxicity Group. There are thousands of us.

I have had lupus for 18 years. It was in my blood all my life but didn't manifest into full blown lupus until after I had my family. A serious illness can trigger it I caught whooping cough off an unvaccinated child and was very ill for months. Shortly after, the lupus pain commenced.

It all boils down to having too many anti nuclear antibodies in your blood. Again, something I was born with.

I have many tests every year including a biopsy of my gut. I have no gluten allergy or damage. You really need to take the drugs the docs provide or she will flare. I have tried to get off them a couple of times. Took the leap of faith to my detriment.

Listen to the Gluten people, cut out Gluten.

My sister controls her RA by cutting out Gluten. It can trigger flare ups.
