However, listening to the fatmans broadcast yesterday, there seems to be evidence that this program continued beyond 2010 and is still in fact in operation today. The 2004-2010 dates are the only "hard evidence" they have obtained so far in data dumps of the people who were actually under surveillance during that time frame. More to come on this I'm sure. There's a perfectly good reason why they don't do things when the people can clearly see they could if they wanted to. How can you say it's moving the goalposts when in fact, the boundaries of the playing field are constantly in flux. This is a living, breathing entity that surely will take on new and interestingly enlightening storylines daily. If the fact has been established that surveillance of US citizens did in fact occur by the government between 2004-2010 then conceivably we can assume that this operation very well could have continued beyond those dates.
