Just had someone who I am familiar with commit suicide. Put a forty cal. In his brain. Left behind a wife and 2 kids, 8 and 11. I have an 11 year old and I can't imagine the damage something like this would do to him. Christians say, just look to Jesus for comfort. Where is Jesus' comfort for those kids? They are without a daddy, provider, supposed hero for life...where is their comfortor? Not Jesus, he is perfectly fine observing from the sky? Not a comfort at all. These kids will be mentally scared and scarred for life. What kind do of sky father is that? Shold be here with those kids, comforting them.. better yet, maybe their shouldn't be such a mystery at all. I love, comfort and reassure my 3.5 year old daughter all of the time. Those kids will not get any of t th hat from "jesus" just painful silenice. I don't know...I'm drunk but I no longer believe. And to those Christians who say, we just have to trust and have faith...I say Bullshit. If he were any kind do of father he would be here with his kids. Just like I am, for a time, with mine.
